@everyone A simple, yet much requested, feature is now live: Time zone setting. Now, in your settings, you can set what time zone you are in, and the times around the site will show your local time.

@everyone @Timber alerted me to a problem with the scoring algorithm today. It has been adjusted and is now correctly showing the balance between upvotes and downvotes.

@everyone, I got a notification from my host that I’m using more memory than I’m paying for. This combined with database errors from having too many simultaneously is forcing me to look at a new host. I’ll be migrating the site this week at some point and will keep you guys updated if any expected downtime should occur.

@everyone I just discovered that my report and error emails were being suppressed by my email service. I'm not sure for how long this has been happening, but it looks like since late December 2018. I will be going through each of these reports, feedback, etc. over the coming weeks to make sure everything gets handled. I apologize greatly for not realizing this sooner. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

@everyone - I have reached out to all possible Moderator candidates. If you haven't received a message or email from me, then you were not chosen. It was a very hard decision, but I decided have an age limit of 18+. Even though there are some intelligent and friendly people under this age limit, I couldn't risk anyone under the age of 18 possibly having exposure to sensitive material. This really limited my choices. Thanks to everyone who applied! Be aware that other mod positions will open up in the future. Keep an eye out! With that said, I'll be announcing mods as they are added. Our first mod is @Midnite. Midnite has been a staple in the Shortcuts subreddit and discord channel. He is also the creator of https://shortcutsweb.app/#/ Thank you Midnite for joining the team!

Our second mod on the team is @tdevx! tdevx has a great knowledge of shortcuts and has helped many people in our Discord. He also a good understanding of media piracy which will help keep the pirates at bay.

Say hi to our third moderator on our team, @ROP 🌈! Everybody knows him already for his work on MediaKit. I'm excited to have ROP on the mod team with his deep knowledge of Shortcuts.

@everyone - We've been having some hosting issues lately, hence the Cloudflare error pages. It's not something totally in my control, however, we will be switching hosts soon which should alleviate these problems. I will be posting a migration schedule soon.

@everyone - We've migrated to new servers. The site should be accessible now, but if you're having issues, join us in #general to talk about it. It might take a bit to access while DNS updates to point to the new servers.

@everyone - We had an issue with the SSL certificate. It's now fixed and the site should be back up and running now!

@everyone - Hopefully my last update for the day. Today's been wild. Migrated the servers, upgraded the server twice and the database clusters twice, it seems we're able to handle all this traffic now. Also, search and trending have been updated. We're using a new search engine to help you get better results, and a new algorithm for trending that should make things more fair.

@everyone - Apple is aware of the Shortcut share link issues and is working to resolve the issue. It seems like most of the shortcuts should be downloadable now, but there are probably a few still not working. I’ll let you all now when we’re back to 100%.
