Recommended Apps

Hey guys! I whipped together a list of apps from my favorites that I thought might be particularly relevant to you all. You should be able to find it in the Family Tech Support shared Apple Notes folder.
I thought I might start a list of those iOS apps among my favorites that might especially add to your lives.
In no particular order:
- Hourology: For elegant, super-customizable clock widgets.
- Bear: For absolutely gorgeous, cloud-synced notetaking and writing.
- Radio Garden: For a beautiful, quaint, and entirely-new look at radio stations around the world.
- LookUp: A pretty, quite popular dictionary app with very cute icons.
- AppWish: My personal favorite means of keeping track of apps on the app store. (Good for tracking when they’re on sale.)
- Audio Trimmer: The absolute quickest, most elegant, and most robust way to trim audio files on iOS.
- Bandcamp: The “alternative” music streaming service I spent a whole year of my life advocating for has always maintained a really great iOS app that now includes CarPlay support!
- Cardhop: Flexibits' contact management app is the best built-on-top-of-Apple’s-native-contacts application I’ve ever come across. The macOS version is even better!
- Drivey: If you need to log your driving for work, Drivey is extremely underrated in my opinion.
- Enpass: After years of loyal 1Password use, I switched to Enpass in 2018 and it's honestly still my absolute favorite password manager available.
- Fantastical: Flexibits' calendar app is as close to a professional-grade calendar iOS/iPadOS has yet to see.
- Halide: Still the best advanced photo capture application on iOS.
- Mapaper: Still one of the coolest extension apps for Siri Shortcuts and the coolest wallpaper-generation app, in my opinion.
- MusicHarbor: An ever-expanding extension app for Apple Music that handles tracking releases as well as any available solution. See my “iPhone and Music” guide for more details.
- Noir: The best among the “Dark Mode” Safari Extensions, in my opinion.
- Overamped: A Safari Extension I would recommend for absolute everyone that redirects Google AMP links to the original source.
- Paste: The best and most beautiful cloud-synced clipboard manager for iOS/iPadOS and macOS. For an explanation of why you'd need one, see "Dirty Dave's Poweruser Tips."
- Pocket Casts: Still my personal favorite podcast app.
- Privacy Report: The handiest app for managing/keeping your App Privacy Reports.
- Spark: Still the best third-party email client on iOS, though I miss Outlook very much, personally.
- Tweetbot: If you use Twitter at all, I absolutely insist you give Tweetbot a good, long try. I wrote a lot about why in my review of Tweebot 6, last year.
- 1 Second Everyday: An entirely original and delightful way to look back on one's video library.
