Easily Converting Apple News Links to Their Original URLs

Hey again guys. This is the first of a series of tips messages involving Siri Shortcuts. If you’ve never downloaded one from me before, you’ll probably need to go through the “Allow Untrusted Shortcuts” process documented here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210628

If you use Apple News at all and ever want to share a given article you’ve read with someone who doesn’t have it, your only option up to this point has been manually searching it out on the web and copying the URL.

…until now. My Apple News ⇨ Safari Shortcut is actually a simplification of another one, but essentially it allows you to open the original link of a given article (if it exists - all Apple News-exclusive content won’t work) in Safari with just two taps.

(This is probably the least useful Shortcut on my brief list to share with and demonstrate for you so… Have faith lol)
