I grew up on a farm an hour north of Columbia until age 14, when I suddenly found myself living with my mom in suburbia. an attempted departure in my early 20s to the West Coast failed so miserably that I returned to Columbia 3? years ago and have accepted entirely that I am never, ever leaving.
I joined this server because it is the first I have ever seen that actually identifies locally (and I’ve been using Discord every day since 2015.) though basically all of my friends live lives in which games are either directly or indirectly involved in their profession - and who genuinely enjoy juegos, separately - I have virtually zero relationship with them. it’s sortof complicated but ultimately - if you really do want just game devs in here, I understand completely.
otherwise, I would like to think myself a particularly apt resource when it comes to iPhone-specific iOS, digital publishing, and a select few niche subjects throughout software history which I suspect inform your day-to-day lives.
