Orchid Corners

An unnamed shape reminded me of the background voice.
I trained an eye:
                                                    this is snow.
                                                    This is how an owl curves.

In the time it takes a cloud to house
an echo, a cell began
to suffocate.

An attic bloomed.
Each warm corner blinked an orchid.
