Hey David. This is Sam. The company that owned Wheelwell went under back in June. I was in marketing and still have access to Facebook somehow. The site is down for good as far as I know, but http://web.archive.org/ might let you get the pictures/info off of your account. Hope this helps.
Not sure what happens to the domain or anything. I think there was talk of selling the brand but idk what came of it. Just kind of sucks all around.
guess what, automotive Twitter?

I remember quite vividly signing up in like 2014(?) and being extremely excited about the prospect of a social-first network for cars lol.

Hello! I'm sure you're probably getting a lot of questions so I apologize if I'm just adding to a deluge - I'm going to send this message directly to your Facebook and Instagram profiles as well as info@wheelwell.com
.
Well, I'm wondering about the status of the site (wheelwell.com, that is). I originally signed up as soon as I heard about it from Matt Farah in like 2014(?) and have continued to be invested in the idea of an automotive social network.
I noticed that the domain is no longer functioning and (it seems) the social accounts have gone silent.
Not interested in complaining or anything, nor do I think you owe anybody an explanation, really. And if we're honest with ourselves... what percentage of wheelwell's userbase actually understands GDPR to any actionable degree? lol
Thanks for your time!
