finally got around to publishing a quick shortcut for @TheLoggerApp that backs up, purges, and then resumes logs with links to the backup files as the first two entries. https://routinehub.co/shortcut/12856
Back up, purge, and resume Logger logs in a single shortcut.
Please note: this Shortcut requires and is exclusively for Logger for Shortcuts.
This shortcut uses native Shortcuts actions along with actions from Alexander Hay's Logger for Shortcuts to comprehensively back up and purge all current entries present in said app's record at the time, beginning a new cycle with just one Log File record present for each of the supported export formats (plaintext and markdown.)
Upon installation, you will be asked to specify:
The directory into which you'd like markdown-formatted output to be stored
The directory into which you'd like plain text-formatted output to be stored
A tag in Logger to attach to markdown-formatted output file records
A tag in Logger to attach to plain text-formatted output file records
