excerpts from Leave Anything
— Andrew Sargus Klein
There are so many moments in this work that I want to talk about, but when I go back to the text, I’m taken away by another, and another. Ismael Luna’s excerpt from Leave Anything unfolds, it spreads, it reveals with purpose. The text—small fragments of narrative, scene, memory—fills the screen like minimal topography, the negative space weaving a path for the urgently, necessarily political self. Here, personhood is at its most fragile and most vital.
